What Is This?

In honor of the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World, this blog is a countdown of one person's opinion on the 50 greatest attractions ever opened there.

My first visit to the Vacation Kingdom was before I can even remember. Through years of being a local resident, an irregular vacationer, a distant online fan, and even an actual Cast Member, I've enjoyed the parks of Walt Disney World through different lenses, different eras, and different levels of knowledge. The key word there is enjoyed, though; no matter what, they have remained a core part of my construction as a person.

The obvious caveat is: while I have experienced -- repeatedly -- nearly every attraction the Florida property has ever offered, one man's opinion is no more than one man's opinion, and attraction enjoyment is purely subjective. While industry impact, fan legacy, and originality of design are all considered in an attempt to make this ranking a little objective, my personal enjoyment is going is going to tilt things heavily. That will probably make you angry, and I'm sorry.

This is for my enjoyment, as a writing outlet for one of my favorite topics, but if anyone else enjoys it at all, that makes me all the happier. If you disagree and want to talk theme park attractions, please hit me up; I'd love to.
